Are You Ready to Trust? – Teachings from This Moment Is Your Miracle

Somebody once wrote me, asking, “There are a large amount of teachers and students of A Course in Miracles out there, but there has to be a thing that you’ve hooked into, or caught onto? Something that triggered a transformation or a major healing. So, the thing that was it?”

“Trust,” I said.

Consider your life since it seems to be nowadays with regards to the story. How can we answer the question; “Who do I trust? Where do I think my safety lies? How will I be sustained? Who is my source?” So whenever we speak about the past stage of the awakening being pure trust, it’s simply about disengaging and withdrawing our faith and rely upon many of these made-up concepts, beliefs, and ideas in the world. a course in miracles store  It’s a lot like making a big house of cards, stacking on a single card following the other. Then a good wind comes along and poof, it’s just blown over. It can’t even stand a little gust of wind. It’s so frail. It’s so temporary. It’s so transitory; It was this sense of placing rely upon the Spirit and withdrawing rely upon the rest; those items that were identified and learned as worldly accomplishments. Why should we rely upon those? Have they ever brought us lasting peace and happiness? Are they really trustworthy? It really comes down seriously to the essence of who’s my brother? Could it be Spirit or matter? Could it be Spirit or form? Furthermore how most of us have tried trusting people? Has anybody tried this one?So you’re asking the question, “When someone dies or seems to be dying of starvation, what does that say about their mind?” Where this is heading is to the awareness that everything is mental. What this awakening will show you is that everything is mental and that everything is a hallucination. That is a world of ideas and what we call manifest reality, isn’t reality at all. There’s no distinction between thought and form. Jesus has to build his whole workbook in A Course In Miracles on making the text between thought and form. His lessons start with, “Nothing I see means anything,” (W-1) and, “I’ve given everything I see all the meaning it’s for me.” (W-2) Then, He works his way up to number four, “These thoughts don’t mean anything&rdquo ;.Now, He’s referring to thoughts. First He’s referring to perception, then about our thoughts, then He returns with lessons 5,6,7,8,9 … perception, perception, perception, perception, perception … and then number 10, “My thoughts don’t mean anything.” You can see he’s attempting to melt everything together and show the past veil or stage of awakening, which is trust.

The Holy Spirit uses time to teach us there’s no such thing as time, to take us back to that timeless moment that’s the gateway to eternity. He uses symbols to teach us they are all illusions and they are all equally meaningless. That’s exactly the way of operation of Holy Spirit. The Spirit has to work with the mind to loosen the attachments from the investment in all kinds of things. What type of things do you spend money on, nowadays?
